Greetings Compeers,

It's September and time for the start of another season of great magic as the LI Mystics / SAM #77 starts its new year. The first meeting for the 2005-06 year is scheduled for Monday night September 12th.

Dues for the new year will be collected, and there will be some surprising announcements about the upcoming schedule as well as  some interesting magical happenings during this past summer. Don't miss it!

The year starts off with member-favorite at our first meeting as we will be presenting Classic Book Night on September 12th .

All those interested in participating should come prepared to perform a trick from any classic (pre-1960) magic book.
Feel free to dress the trick up in any way and customize it to your own personal style.
Performers should be prepared to identify the names of the book and author, the date it was published, and the name of the trick.

Come ready to perform and help us start off the new year with a  great evening of magic and entertainment. The more members that perform, the stronger our club becomes!

(One other reminder - There is a lecture scheduled for our October meeting which will be free for members in good standing with dues paid to date. Pay your dues in September, and you won't get stuck paying twice!)
