The Long Island Mystics is a club dedicated to furthering the art and enjoyment of magic,
and delighting in the good fellowship it brings.

Founded in a Long Island, New York, basement in the early 1950's, the Long Island Mystics has played an important role in magic in the New York area for over five decades. After becoming the local assembly (#77) for the national Society of American Magicians  in the mid-60's, the group has grown into one of the largest, and most exciting organizations in magic. Membership offers magicians and hobbyists the chance to meet amateurs, dealers, professionals, authors and collectors from around the world, as well as take part in a number of social and entertainment events throughout the year.
